You mean you wouldn't want this building showing up in your home town?

I'm with ya, about manageable and attractive cities, but there's a price tag for limiting upward development: scarcer supply = higher prices.
If you're in the rental scene, here are some good
rental agreement forms, and if you have a funny bone here's a great
real estate humor site.
Cheers!

PS I'm currently in Boulder, CO, a gorgeous city with a hefty cost of living. I'm personally a fan of far-sighted urban planning and development, and the zoning that accompanies such visions. Many cities have resolved this issue by having a "downtown" zone with highrises, to keep supply available, with the rest of the city's neighborhoods limited to only a few stories.
